Paritas people
We have had great success placing people into employment in our first year of business. Our candidates have entered employment in a range of positions across West Sussex.
Here you can read the personal stories of just some of our paritas candidates.
Colin's story
With the help of Paritas, Colin was found a position within 2 weeks of being referred by Heather of Impact Workability. He has remained employed in that same role for the past 11 months.
From Colin's perspective the process of finding employment through Impact Workability, Paritas and Manpower was painless, if a little scary. Colin suffered from a lack of confidence in his own speech, and attending interviews made him nervous and uncomfortable.
He is happy to recognise the help he was given by Paritas who spent time understanding Colin's specific needs and trying to make him feel comfortable throughout the recruitment process . Read more of Colin's story.
Liz's story
Liz had held a number of senior positions, including that of assistant branch manager in a Building Society, before she started suffering with medical problems.Fighting her illness eventually took its toll, with Liz being diagnosed with surgically induced depression.A little while later, Liz found herself out of work, and her self-esteem and confidence gradually started to erode as the reality of unemployment began to sink in.
In the summer of 2008, however, Liz decided that she was ready to start looking for work again, and heard through Impact Workability of Paritas and their aim to help and support the disabled in finding employment.Liz was put forward for the role of receptionist with the Sensory Support Team in Storrington. The necessary interviews took place, and Liz was offered the role. Denise's story
After being unemployed throughout 2008 and finding that the loss of her driving licence for medical reasons was resulting in her only being able to seek work in her local area, Denise was looking at the start of the New Year with a little trepidation. She had tried travelling to jobs further a field using public transport resulting in an 11 hour day, but had found that in reality this was not a practical solution. With no work and with bills to pay, Denise was beginning to get worried.
Towards the end of 2008, however, Impact Workability referred Denise to Paritas, and in the first week of 2009, Denise began her new full-time job working in the HR department for the local Mental Health NHS Trust. Read more of Denise's story.
