Q. Can you help me find a job?

A. Yes, if you feel your mental health is a barrier to you finding or keeping employment.


Q. Where are you based?

A. We are based in Worthing but cover the whole of West Sussex. You will need to live in West Sussex to be able to use Paritas.

Q. Do I have to come to Worthing?

A. No. Once you have applied to Paritas we will come and meet with you at a location close to where you live.
 

Q. Are the jobs all temporary?

A. The majority of our jobs currently are temporary - some are for a few weeks and some for 3 or 6 months. Some roles will also be ongoing will no set end date.


Q. What do I need to do to apply to Paritas?

A. You will need to complete a Paritas application form and send this to us with your CV. We will also send to you the Manpower checklist to help ensure you bring all the correct information to an interview.


Q. What happens when I've sent my forms in?

A. Give us a call and we will send you an application form. Once we have received your form and a copy of your CV we will contact you, to arrange to meet you at our next convenient registration day.

Q. Why shouldn't I just go and register with a regular recruitment agency?

A. By registering with Paritas you will be able to access an enhanced service for people who have experienced mental ill health. Our dedicated recruitment consultant has received mental health awareness  training alongside all Paritas staff.

We will aim to put you forward for employment with employers who have received mental health awareness training, and who also have the tools and skills to support you fully in the workplace.
